Terms
Terms of use
Written in plain language by the owner of this application. They set out what you can expect and what is expected of you.
Using the service
- You may use Jersey Machine Works to record and manage equipment belonging to your organization.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the records you enter and for keeping account credentials secure.
- You must not use the service to store unlawful content, or attempt to access another organization's data.
Accounts and access
- Administrators of an organization control who is invited and what role each person holds.
- An administrator can remove access at any time. Removing a person does not delete the records they created.
- We may suspend an account that is being used in a way that threatens the service or other customers.
Plans and billing
- The service is provided under the commercial terms agreed with each customer.
- Features may change, and functionality may be added or withdrawn as the product develops.
- Any change to the fees that apply to your organization will be communicated in advance.
Your content
- You keep ownership of the records and files you upload.
- You grant us the permission needed to store, process and display that content in order to run the service for you.
- You can export your organization's data or ask for it to be deleted.
Availability and liability
- The service is provided as is. We work to keep it available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
- Jersey Machine Works is a record-keeping tool. It does not replace manufacturer instructions, statutory inspection requirements, or professional judgement about whether a machine is safe to use.
- To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from use of the service is limited.
Changes
- These terms may be updated as the product changes. Material changes will be communicated to account administrators.
